10 MINUTE BREATHING EXERCISE - SLEEP

RETURN TO THE BREATH WITH THIS BEDTIME BREATH PRACTICE.

 

Practice Guide:

Breathe from your diaphragm.
Control your in and out breaths making them slow and conscious.
This practise focuses on very slow inhales and exhales.
It may take you a few minutes to slow your breath pattern down. That's ok, be patient with yourself. 

 

For this bedtime practice the breath pattern is:

Breathe in for 4 seconds. 

Breath out for 4 seconds.

Hold for 4 seconds.
