Juices for Glowing Skin
Elasticity is essential for a glowing complexion. When we're young, the skin gets natural elasticity from the structural protein collagen. With increasing age, the body slows down collagen production and needs more help to look radiant and fresh.
Products rich in vitamin C help to stimulate collagen production and aid the synthesis of proteins in the body. The best foods to boost vitamin C intake include dark green vegetables and citrus fruits. Additionally, antioxidants like lycopene, found in red fruits and vegetables such as peppers, tomatoes and beetroots, also support the collagen-making process.
