How to use your Amethyst Gua Sha

A few slow minutes can turn your face oil into a more intentional ritual. Use your Gua Sha with light pressure, plenty of slip and an unhurried pace.

Before you begin

Apply a few drops of face oil so the stone glides comfortably. Keep the tool almost flat against the skin rather than pressing the edge directly into the face.

1. Neck

Start at the sides of the neck and glide gently downward toward the collarbone. Repeat each movement three to five times.

2. Jawline

Place the curved edge at the centre of the chin and sweep outward toward the ear. Keep the pressure light and steady.

3. Cheeks

Move from beside the nose outward across the cheek toward the ear. Work slowly rather than trying to create strong pressure.

4. Under-eye area

Use the smallest curve with especially light pressure, moving from the inner eye area outward toward the temple. Never drag or press firmly.

5. Forehead

Glide from the centre of the forehead outward toward the temples, then finish with a few gentle upward strokes.

Keep it simple. Three to five minutes is enough. The goal is not force; it is glide, rhythm and consistency.

How often?

Use it whenever it feels good in your routine — a few times a week or as a quiet evening ritual. Clean the stone after each use with lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser, then dry thoroughly.

Avoid using Gua Sha over broken, irritated or actively inflamed skin. If your skin feels uncomfortable, stop and give it time to settle.
