Yes, it is derived from the algae extract. Aura is an inspiration from the ocean. It does not contain additives. Please note as this is natural this colour can vary from charge. At the moment, the colour is more of a blue-green colour. We do not have influence on this change as it is a natural extract and varies from harvest and thus from charge to charge.
You apply Aura after the cleansing step and before you apply your serum. Aura is your Pre-Serum step to provide your skin with deep hydration and support your microbiome.
Aura is a gel-like texture that is non-sticky.
Aura is 100% free from any emulsifiers and drying alcohols. If we use an emulsifier, the emulsifier is based on botanical oils and is gentle to the most sensitive skins.
You can use Aura in your morning and evening routine. You can also keep it very simple and only use Aura Essence and then Cacay Beauty Oil. Perfect Combi to nourish the skin all day long.
Many conventional products contain ingredients like xanthan gum, sodium chloride, potassium sorbate, or parfum, which can irritate sensitive skin — or are visually enhanced with artificial colorants such as CI 15510 (Orange) and CI 47005 (Yellow).
Aura Essence deliberately avoids such controversial ingredients. No synthetic fragrances, no harsh surfactants like sodium lauryl sulfate, no unnecessary fillers — only what your skin truly needs. You can learn more about our unique craftsmanship here.
