The Rosacea
Skincare Routine

A tolerance-first protocol built for rosacea and couperose-prone skin. Barrier first, vascular calming second, everything else after.

Fragrance-Free Ectoin Vascular Calming Ceramide Barrier-First Broad-Spectrum SPF 50+ No Mineral Oils No Essential Oils

Skin State — CALM.  Is your skin currently in active flare? This routine is for stable skin. If skin is stinging or burning, start with the CALM state first.

Three rosacea profiles.
One protocol.

01 Persistent redness + flushing

Vascular rosacea (ETR). Skin flushes with heat, stress or alcohol. No raised bumps. Ectoin and ceramide calming is the primary intervention.

02 Visible capillaries + dryness

Couperose / Grade 1. Fine telangiectasia visible, skin tight and dry. The optimal intervention window before inflammatory Grade 2 develops.

03 Papules + reactive episodes

Papulopustular / Grade 2. Raised lesions alongside persistent erythema. Use this routine alongside any dermatologist-prescribed treatment.

Start the day
without disruption.

Every step earns its place biologically. Nothing is here for sensory appeal or trend. Each product addresses a specific mechanism that rosacea-prone skin requires.

Gentle Bliss Gel Cleanser

Cleanse
Gentle Bliss Gel Cleanser

Sulphate-free, pH-balanced, fragrance-free. Rosacea skin experiences measurable TEWL increase after every foaming sulphate wash. This does not raise pH or strip surface lipids. Apply to dry skin, emulsify with lukewarm water.

NeuroCalm Serum

Ectoin stabilises cell membranes to interrupt the neurogenic inflammatory signal that converts vascular sensitisation into visible flushing. It does not mask redness. It reduces the threshold at which triggers produce a response. Apply to damp skin after cleansing.

RoseaCalm Cream
03AM + PM
Moisturise — Barrier
RoseaCalm Cream

Ceramide-rich barrier repair. The structural deficit in rosacea skin is the reason products sting, fragrance triggers flushing and temperature changes cause visible redness. Consistent ceramide application rebuilds the architecture between nerve endings and external inputs.

Protect — SPF
Everyday Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA++++

UV is the highest-frequency rosacea trigger in clinical data. It causes lipid peroxidation in the barrier matrix, reversing the ceramide repair of step 3 with every unprotected exposure. Broad-spectrum organic SPF 50+, fragrance-free. Every day, every season.

Evening is where
repair compounds.

The same core three steps. Cell Resilience Serum added as step 2 once skin is consistently tolerating the routine for two weeks.

Gentle Bliss Gel Cleanser

Cleanse
Gentle Bliss Gel Cleanser

Same principle as morning. If wearing SPF or light coverage, one gentle cleanse is sufficient. Double cleansing is not recommended for rosacea skin — the second pass compounds surface lipid loss.

Cell Resilience Serum

Not a hydration step. Cell-communicating bioactives support the skin's ability to regulate itself under daily environmental stress. Barrier-supportive lipids strengthen organised structure. Antioxidant protection reduces the oxidative burden that amplifies rosacea reactivity.

NeuroCalm Serum

Evening application allows Ectoin to work during the skin's peak repair window. Consistent twice-daily use builds cumulative vascular tolerance over four to six weeks. The mechanism requires repeated signalling, not a single application.

Seal & Repair

Barrier repair enzymes are most active between 11pm and 4am. Evening ceramide application provides the lipid substrates the barrier needs during its highest-repair window. The single most consequential step for long-term rosacea improvement.

Skin State — CALM

Skin in active flare?
Start here.

This routine is designed for stable skin ready for consistent treatment. If your skin is currently stinging, burning or in an active flare-up, the CALM state protocol is the correct starting point. Return to this routine once basic hydration is tolerated without reactivity.

RoseaCalm - NAYA

What rosacea skin
cannot tolerate.

Fragrance in any leave-on product
Essential oils in leave-on products
Alcohol as a formulation solvent
Mineral oils — trap heat in inflamed tissue
Foaming sulphate cleansers
Mechanical exfoliants and scrubs
AHAs and BHAs during active flare phases
Menthol and camphor
Very hot or very cold water for cleansing

Progress is cumulative,
not overnight.

Days 1–7 Acute reactivity reduces

Stinging and burning with basic products begins to calm. Inconsistency is normal during this phase. Do not introduce anything new.

Weeks 2–4 Baseline stability improves

Post-cleanse tightness reduces. Flushing episodes become shorter. Cell Resilience Serum can be introduced once the core routine is consistently tolerated.

Week 6+ Trigger threshold rises

Previously reliable triggers produce smaller or shorter reactions. Barrier density is meaningfully higher than at day one.

Month 3+ Cumulative resilience

Flare frequency is lower. Duration when they occur is shorter. A conversation with a dermatologist about structural actives can begin if skin is stable.
