What's inside
Retinol supports cellular renewal to help refine uneven texture, soften early lines and improve the appearance of post-breakout marks. Used consistently and gradually, it can deliver visible renewal without requiring peeling or irritation.
Cacay oil provides replenishing lipids and naturally occurring antioxidant compounds that help cushion the skin during retinol use. Its lightweight texture helps maintain softness and comfort without making the formula feel overly rich.
Bakuchiol is a botanical active that supports smoother, firmer and more even-looking skin. It complements retinol while helping the overall formula remain suitable for a more measured, comfort-focused renewal routine.

That’s such a great question — and one we hear often!
Retinal (or Retinaldehyde) is frequently described as a stronger or faster version of Retinol, but the truth is: the difference isn’t as dramatic as many brands make it out to be. The popular claim that Retinal is “11 times faster” isn’t actually supported by independent studies — there’s no robust clinical evidence confirming this. It’s a marketing myth that keeps being repeated, and as a brand that values science and ingredient integrity, we find it just as frustrating as you might.
Both Retinol and Retinal are effective forms of Vitamin A, and the main difference lies in how the skin converts them:
Retinol remains an excellent option. It’s gentler for many skin types, especially for beginners or those with sensitive skin — and still highly effective when used consistently. It’s a solid choice for long-term skin health without unnecessary irritation.
At NAYA, we don’t follow trends — we follow evidence. That’s why we formulate products that work with your skin, not against it, and why we offer both Retinol and Retinal-based products. Each addresses different needs — and we’re here to help you find the right one for your skin, not what’s trending on social media this month.
